That means one of two things: the cells cannot be taken out of this battery, or we have not seen enough of them yet to set a fixed price for a cell replacement. Repair is possible. The fault is then usually in the charging port or the electronics. Register the battery on this page, we run an intake test and send you a quote. We only start once you have agreed.

Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes, on the work we carried out and on the parts we replaced. The warranty does not cover parts of the battery we did not work on. If we repair the charging port, for example, the cells are not included. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Kettler Speed 48V frame battery: repair of the 10 Ah pack
A Kettler Speed that stays dark after a winter in the shed usually has a 48V frame battery in deep discharge, not worn-out cells. This pack holds 10 Ah and charges on a 48V charger. We repair it; cell replacement is not on offer for this battery, so Battery revision above shows Not available.
What we fix on the Speed pack: recovery from deep discharge, a new BMS or circuit board when the electronics fail, and a charging port that has come loose. The Kettler casing stays your own.
Book the battery in here and send it to us. It goes on the test bench before anything else, then you receive a proposal stating the price. Approve it and the repair starts. If you turn it down, we return the pack for the inspection fee stated on this page.
