Frequently asked questions
With us, an e-bike battery cell replacement (re-celling) always starts with a thorough intake test. We first check whether the problems you are having actually show up in the measurements. We look at whether a cell replacement is possible, but also at whether a repair is the smarter option, or whether there is another cause that has to be dealt with first. Only then do we decide which solution suits your battery best. We never replace anything without first finding out what is really wrong.
Yes. We give a standard 2-year warranty on our new products and on every part we replace during a cell replacement. If we replace other parts as well as the cell pack, a circuit board for example, those parts fall under the same warranty period.
If you are not sure whether your battery can still be repaired or re-celled, we can inspect it first. We start with a thorough diagnosis and then contact you to go through the findings. If you cannot or do not want to go ahead with the repair after that, we charge an inspection fee. If we cannot offer any solution at all, such as a repair or a replacement battery, it is no cure, no pay and you pay nothing. That makes it a much smaller step to have your battery inspected.
After the repair or cell replacement we send your battery back, safely packed, to the address you gave us. As soon as your battery has been shipped, you receive a tracking number so you can follow the shipment. During the process you can also follow the status of your battery in your own account.
