No. Second-hand means resold as it was. A refurbished battery has been tested by us, repaired where needed and measured again afterwards. It comes with a 24-month warranty.

That means one of two things: the cells cannot be taken out of this battery, or we have not seen enough of them yet to set a fixed price for a cell replacement. Repair is possible. You get a quote first. Expect more than €95. That amount is our inspection fee, and you only pay it if you turn down our proposal; we then send the battery back. If you accept, you pay for the repair and no inspection fee. If there is nothing we can do for your battery, it costs you nothing.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes, on the work we carried out and on the parts we replaced. The warranty does not cover parts of the battery we did not work on. If we repair the charging port, for example, the cells are not included. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Bosch PowerTube 625 vertical: new, refurbished or repaired
The PowerTube 625 in its vertical version, with the oval connector, sits inside the down tube and holds 16.7 Ah at 36V. Bikes that use it include the Cannondale Moterra Neo Carbon, the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid SL, the Cube Reaction Hybrid SL and the Cube Cross Hybrid Race Allroad. Check that your old pack is the vertical type before you order.
Three options on this page. New Battery is a new PowerTube 625. Refurbished Battery is a used pack that we have tested and restored, also at 16.7 Ah. Battery repair is for your own pack: we test the cells and the BMS, send a proposal with the price and start after your approval; if you decline, it returns for the inspection fee stated on this page.
A cell replacement in the PowerTube casing is not offered for this type.
