Frequently asked questions
An original charger comes from the same manufacturer as your battery. A universal charger works on the same voltage and with the same plug, but is made by another brand. Both are suitable; a universal charger is usually cheaper.
Yes. A charger with too high a voltage can damage the battery, and a plug that almost fits makes poor contact. Only use a charger with the same voltage and the same plug as your old one. The voltage is on the label of your battery and of your charger.

Cortina Ecomo 24V 3 A charger
Lost the charger of your Cortina Ecomo, or has it stopped working? This 24V charger delivers 3 A and suits the Cortina Ecomo and the Ecomo XL Plus.
Check two things before you order. First the voltage: Cortina also used a 36V charger for the Sport Drive, and that one is not meant for a 24V Ecomo battery. Then the plug: the connector type is not listed here, so compare the plug of your old charger, or the charging socket on your battery, before you buy.
Is the battery itself the problem rather than the charger? The Cortina Ecomo 24V battery has its own page with us, where you can register it for a check. If the charger is all you need, order it on this page.
