Our cell replacement process in detail
1. Unpacking and booking in
As soon as your battery arrives, we unpack it carefully and book it into our system. Every battery gets its own number, and all the parts that belong to it go into one crate, ready for the cell replacement.
2. Intake test
The battery then goes to our test department. There we run several tests to establish its current capacity and any faults. We draw up a detailed test report for you.
3. Dismantling
If a cell replacement is needed, we dismantle the battery. All electronics and cells are removed safely, and the worn cells are disposed of in an environmentally responsible way.
4. Building the cell pack
We build a new cell pack to measure, to the specifications of your battery. The cell groups are welded together and checked thoroughly.
5. Assembly
We put the battery back together with care. We run several tests to check its charging capacity and general operation. The battery is then packed safely, ready for the final test.
6. Final test
Every battery goes through a thorough quality and safety check. We use special equipment and test bikes to make sure the battery performs as it should and is reliable.
7. Booking out
After a successful final test, the battery is booked out, cleaned and made ready for shipping or collection.
Exceptions and communication
Some batteries need specialist treatment, and a longer lead time can apply to them. This is always stated clearly on the product page of the battery. As soon as your battery is ready for shipping, you receive an email with tracking information.
