The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.
In a cell replacement we swap every cell in your battery for a new one. The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Linde EL20 24V battery for the L20: new cells
The EL20 is a 24V battery with 20 Ah that Linde uses in the L20. When a machine like this is used every working day, the cells wear faster than on a bike and the battery runs out before the job is done.
KWS re-cells the EL20 in its original housing. The Battery revision option on this page is a full cell replacement at 20 Ah, so the battery is back at its factory capacity. You find its price at the top of the page.
We test the BMS and the old cells first. A faulty board or charging connector is handled through Battery repair, where you approve a proposal with the price before work begins. Two years of warranty apply to the new EL20 cells.
