The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.
In a cell replacement we swap every cell in your battery for a new one. The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
You choose from 20Ah, 16.7Ah, 13.4Ah, 10Ah. More Ah means more energy in the same casing, so you get further on one charge. How much further depends on load, riding style, wind and temperature, which is why we do not quote kilometres. What we do guarantee: the capacity you order is the capacity you get.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.
Expect approximately 10 workdays from the moment your battery is booked in. The exact time depends on what we find in the intake test. You can follow the status in your own account, and the current lead time is on our lead-time page.

Phylion JCEB360 battery: re-cell at 10, 13.4 or 20 Ah
The Phylion JCEB360 is the 36V 10 Ah battery behind 23 Altec models, including the Atlanta, Citigo, Comfort and Cosmos. When its range drops with age, new cells are the fix, and we fit them in the casing you already have.
Battery revision, as the option on this page is called, means a full cell replacement. Choose 10 Ah for the original capacity, 13.4 Ah for more, or 20 Ah, the largest option here. The price for each capacity is shown above once you select it, and you get a two-year warranty on the new cells.
For a deeply discharged pack, a BMS or circuit board fault or a damaged charging port, use Battery repair instead. We test the battery, quote first and start only after you approve. Choose your capacity above and send the JCEB360 in.
