The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.
In a cell replacement we swap every cell in your battery for a new one. The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
You choose from 25Ah, 20Ah. More Ah means more energy in the same casing, so you get further on one charge. How much further depends on load, riding style, wind and temperature, which is why we do not quote kilometres. What we do guarantee: the capacity you order is the capacity you get.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Yes. If you regularly have batteries from patient hoists, wheelchairs or mobility scooters, you do not need to register each one through this page. Each site can deliver with its own purchase reference while agreements and invoicing run centrally. How that works is on our business page.

Van Raam Maxi 2 tricycle battery with new cells
This 36V battery powers the Van Raam Maxi 2, the electric tricycle. After a number of years of daily use the cells are often tired before the housing, the lock or the contacts are.
The Battery revision option on this page is a full cell replacement inside your existing Maxi housing. You choose 20 or 25 Ah, and the price for each capacity is shown above.
Before anything is rebuilt, we measure the cells and the BMS of your Maxi battery. When it turns out that only the electronics or the charging connection fail, Battery repair is the better fit and you see a proposal with the price before we start. The fresh cells carry a two-year warranty.
