The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.
In a cell replacement we swap every cell in your battery for a new one. The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes. If you regularly have batteries from patient hoists, wheelchairs or mobility scooters, you do not need to register each one through this page. Each site can deliver with its own purchase reference while agreements and invoicing run centrally. How that works is on our business page.

Vermeiren Sedna 24V battery with new cells
Vermeiren uses this 24V pack, part number 1913992, on the Sedna mobility scooter. It was supplied with 10 Ah. When trips to the shops start ending with a flashing indicator, the cells are usually worn out.
The Battery revision option on this page is a full cell replacement in the Sedna housing you already own. You choose 20.1 Ah or 30 Ah, both well above the original 10 Ah, so the scooter covers more ground per charge. Each of the two capacities has its own price above.
Each Sedna pack has its cells and BMS measured before any work. Where only the electronics or the charging connection are at fault, Battery repair is the better choice and you receive a proposal before we start. The fresh Sedna cells are covered for two years.
