The motor is not receiving data from the battery. If the battery charges and the lights come on, the problem is usually in the bike or the plug, and a new battery won't solve it. If the battery does not respond to the button or will not charge, the electronics have most likely failed. On this 500 Wh intube battery, a new battery is then the solution.
A new 504 Wh battery costs less than replacing the cells of your old one or repairing its electronics. It fits the same holder and has a little more capacity than the original 13.4 Ah. That is why we only offer a new battery for this type.

Yamaha Intube 500 Wh: new 504 Wh battery
This battery sits inside the frame of, among others, the Haibike Trekking 4 and 6, the Haibike FullNine 5 and the Winora Yucatan i9. The label says X1R-00 or X1R-10, with PASB6. For this type we offer a new Simplo intube battery: 36 V and 14 Ah, 504 Wh in total. It fits the same holder as your old battery and has a little more capacity than the original 13.4 Ah.
We don't offer a re-cell or an electronics repair for this battery. A new one costs less, and you get fresh cells straight away. Your old battery does not need to come to us. The 630 Wh Simplo intube is longer and does not fit this holder. Other types are in the overview of all Yamaha batteries.
Does your display show Er71?
With Er71 the motor is not receiving data from the battery. If your battery charges normally and the lights come on, the fault is usually in the bike or the contacts, and a new battery won't help.
