Unfortunately the company has gone bankrupt, so new parts are no longer supplied. When the bike stops working, the battery is often the cause. You can send or bring your battery to us so that we can trace the problem. After this check you decide for yourself what you want to do with your battery.

Since May 2019 we have been the only company in the Netherlands that can program the capacity of BionX systems.

This means the display matches the new capacity after a cell replacement (re-celling). The capacity can usually be doubled, so you can ride twice as far as with a new original battery. The display used to show an almost empty battery far too soon, but that has been fixed.

We have the BionX software ourselves, so we can change everything on the software side. For example, we can set the level of assistance and read out the battery, motor and display. We can also change the maximum speed.

In short: we can program every BionX system.

BionX is a drive system that Trek used on a large scale. For a number of years BionX supplied the system for the electric drive. It consists of the motor with built-in controller, the display, the sensors and the battery. Specialist bike shops are able to read out and program the BionX system.

The speed of a BionX system can be changed by programming the software. To change the speed we need the bike, the battery and the display here with us. The maximum speed can be limited, but it can also be raised. Bear in mind that raising the speed has several drawbacks. A standard bike is not built for it, and it is illegal to provide assistance above 25 km/h on a bike without a number plate.
