Some batteries are built in a way that rules out repair. The cells may be potted in glue, the casing may not open without being destroyed, or the software may refuse the battery once work has been done on it. Sometimes the BMS fails for good during the job. If this page lists a new or refurbished battery, that is your replacement. Private customers can hand in the old battery free of charge when they bring it in; businesses, please contact us first. The types we cannot repair are listed on our beyond-repair page.

Stella SF 2.0-LIN compatible carrier battery

This is a new 36V battery for the rear carrier, built to replace the Stella SF 2.0-LIN pack. It holds 14.5 Ah and is produced by EYXON, a maker of compatible packs that offers an affordable alternative to an original Stella battery.

It suits Stella bikes including the Dolce Comfort FDST, the Dolce Superior MDS, the Livorno Easy FDST and the Livorno Superior FDST. Check the type on the label of your current battery first: it should read SF 2.0-LIN.

Because it slides into the existing carrier mount, you can swap it yourself without tools.
