No. Second-hand means resold as it was. A refurbished battery has been tested by us, repaired where needed and measured again afterwards. It comes with a 24-month warranty.
The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.

The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes. If you regularly have batteries from patient hoists, wheelchairs or mobility scooters, you do not need to register each one through this page. Each site can deliver with its own purchase reference while agreements and invoicing run centrally. How that works is on our business page.

When your E-motion wheelchair drive no longer lasts through the day, the battery needs attention. This 25.2V pack, also known as the Invacare M15, came with 8.7 Ah, carries part number 1566508 and type number 2111161707293, and charges on a 29V charger.
With the Battery revision option on this page we replace every cell and keep the casing you already have. Choose 10 Ah for more capacity than the original 8.7 Ah, or 6 Ah, which is clearly less. Each capacity shows its price above when you tick it, and the new cells of your E-motion pack carry a two-year warranty.
