We do not offer a cell replacement for this type. That means one of two things: the cells cannot be taken out of this battery, or we have not seen enough of them yet to set a fixed price for a cell replacement. Repair is possible. The fault is then usually in the charging port or the electronics. Register the battery on this page, we run an intake test and send you a quote. We only start once you have agreed.
We know after the intake test, because the price depends on the part that has failed. You get a quote first. Expect more than €95. That amount is our inspection fee, and you only pay it if you turn down our proposal; we then send the battery back. If you accept, you pay for the repair and no inspection fee. If there is nothing we can do for your battery, it costs you nothing.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes, on the work we carried out and on the parts we replaced. The warranty does not cover parts of the battery we did not work on. If we repair the charging port, for example, the cells are not included. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Askoll eB1 and eB2 battery: repair of the 36V pack
Askoll fitted this 36V battery with 8.6 Ah to the eB1 and the eB2. The label shows type number TC101NV000396 or code L1293500, and the charger plugs in with a 5-pin connector. KWS repairs the pack: recovering a battery that discharged too deeply, renewing the BMS or circuit board, fixing the charging port.
Testing comes first, both the cells and the BMS. A proposal with the price follows, and the repair starts as soon as you agree. If you choose not to go ahead, we send the battery back for the inspection fee stated on this page.
Battery repair is the only option for this Askoll battery right now; a cell replacement cannot be ordered on this page. Bent or dirty pins in the 5-pin socket can also cause charging trouble.
