The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.
In a cell replacement we swap every cell in your battery for a new one. The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.

Bafang BT F08.600.C downtube battery: new cells at 14 Ah
The Bafang BT F08.600.C is a semi-integrated 43V 14 Ah downtube battery, rated 600Wh, on e-bikes including the Amslod Ascot MTX 600, Aston MTX 600, Carlton STX 600 and Hamilton MTX 600. A 450Wh downtube version and the Bafang BT C01 battery have their own pages, so read the Wh and type number on your label.
Select the Battery revision option and we replace every cell at 14 Ah, the same as the original. The pack keeps its own casing and fits back on the downtube just as it did. New cells come with a two-year warranty, and the price is visible above after you make your choice.
Battery repair covers the rest: a pack drained too far, a failed BMS or circuit board, a damaged charging port. Our test comes first, then a priced proposal for you to approve.
