. When you send us the battery, put your own charger in the box as well. We test them together.The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.
In a cell replacement we swap every cell in your battery for a new one. The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
You choose from 13.4Ah, 10Ah, 16.7Ah. More Ah means more energy in the same casing, so you get further on one charge. How much further depends on load, riding style, wind and temperature, which is why we do not quote kilometres. What we do guarantee: the capacity you order is the capacity you get.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.

E-bike kit premium 36V: new cells for the rear-rack pack
Conversion kits like this premium set came with a 36V pack on the rear carrier, rated at 10 Ah when new. After a few hundred charges the cells hold noticeably less, and the motor cuts out earlier on every ride.
The Battery revision option on this page is a full cell replacement inside your existing housing. You pick 10, 13.4 or 16.7 Ah, so you can stay at the original rating or add range for longer trips. You see the price of each capacity in the selector above.
First we test the BMS and the contacts, because a weak board will undo the benefit of fresh cells. If the cells turn out fine and the fault sits elsewhere, Battery repair is the better route. Your new cell set is covered by a two-year warranty.
