The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.

The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.

Mahle X35 Range Extender: new cells at 6.7 Ah
Mahle built this Range Extender for its X35 drive system. It mounts in place of the bottle cage and adds a second 36V battery with 5.8 Ah, used on bikes including the Cannondale Quick Neo SL, the Cannondale Tesoro Neo SL, the Mondraker F-Play and the Stevens E-Strada.
Once the extender only adds a few kilometres, the cells have aged. The Battery revision option on this page is a full cell replacement inside your own casing, at 6.7 Ah. That is more than the factory 5.8 Ah, so the extender gives you more than it did when new. The price is shown above.
We measure the cells and the BMS before we open it. A fault in the electronics or the contacts can be handled through Battery repair. New cells carry two years of warranty.
