We test them together.The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.

The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
You choose from 10Ah, 13.4Ah. More Ah means more energy in the same casing, so you get further on one charge. How much further depends on load, riding style, wind and temperature, which is why we do not quote kilometres. What we do guarantee: the capacity you order is the capacity you get.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Qwic Trend 2 36V (BA00040, BA00045): cell replacement
Qwic used two versions of this carrier battery on the Trend: BA00040 at 375 Wh and BA00045 at 500 Wh. Models in our catalogue with this pack include the Trend MN7.2 HS11, the Trend FN7.2 and the Trend FN8c Lite, and the part number field also lists the Trend 3. Both versions belong on this page.
Under the Battery revision option we replace all the cells inside your own casing and rebuild the pack at 10 Ah or 13.4 Ah. Choose a capacity above to see its price. The new cells carry a two-year warranty.
Before we open the pack we test it together with the BMS, and with your charger if you send it along. A battery that will not charge at all can often be repaired rather than re-celled, and in that case we quote the repair first.
