We do not offer a cell replacement for this type. That means one of two things: the cells cannot be taken out of this battery, or we have not seen enough of them yet to set a fixed price for a cell replacement. Repair is possible. The fault is then usually in the charging port or the electronics. Register the battery on this page, we run an intake test and send you a quote. We only start once you have agreed.
We know after the intake test, because the price depends on the part that has failed. You get a quote first. Expect more than €95. That amount is our inspection fee, and you only pay it if you turn down our proposal; we then send the battery back. If you accept, you pay for the repair and no inspection fee. If there is nothing we can do for your battery, it costs you nothing.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Expect approximately 10 workdays from the moment your battery is booked in. The exact time depends on what we find in the intake test. You can follow the status in your own account, and the current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes, on the work we carried out and on the parts we replaced. The warranty does not cover parts of the battery we did not work on. If we repair the charging port, for example, the cells are not included. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Specialized M3 Turbo Levo battery: repair
The Specialized M3 is the in-tube battery of the Turbo Levo Gen 3 (from 2022), with type numbers 98921-5611 and 98921-5614. There are two versions: the SBC-B21 with 500 Wh (10S3P, 30 cells) and the SBC-B22 with 700 Wh (10S4P, 40 cells), both with Samsung INR21700-50E cells. Through the motor system the battery talks to the Mission Control app.
We do not offer a cell replacement for the M3 at the moment, but we do repair it. We test the cells and check whether the BMS balances properly and communicates with the Specialized system. You then hear what is wrong and what the repair costs. If the electronics need replacing, the price is shown above under Battery repair. If you decide against the repair, you pay the €95 inspection fee and we send the battery back.
