The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.

In a cell replacement we swap every cell in your battery for a new one. The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Talaria Sting 60V battery: re-celled to 40 Ah
The Talaria Sting and the Sting MX3 run on a 60V 38Ah battery, part number BTYPL012. Over time the range drops while the casing is still in good order.
With Battery revision we replace all cells inside your own casing, and the pack comes back with 40 Ah, a little more than it had new. The price is shown above and the work carries a two-year warranty.
Does the battery no longer switch on? Then choose Battery repair. We test the cells and the BMS first and send you a proposal with the price. Work starts only after your approval.
