Frequently asked questions
The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.
In a cell replacement we swap every cell in your battery for a new one. The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes. If you regularly have batteries from patient hoists, wheelchairs or mobility scooters, you do not need to register each one through this page. Each site can deliver with its own purchase reference while agreements and invoicing run centrally. How that works is on our business page.

Indes WheelDrive power support battery 80305965 with new cells
When your WheelDrive power support no longer lasts the day, the battery is usually to blame. This 24V 9 Ah pack for the Indes WheelDrive carries type number 80305965 and part number 1010223, and it charges on a 29.4V charger.
The Battery revision option on this page is a full cell replacement at 9 Ah, the same as the original, inside the casing you already have. Your WheelDrive keeps its own battery housing, so it fits exactly as before. Pick the option and you see the price above. For the new cells, the WheelDrive pack gets our two-year warranty.
Has the pack stopped working altogether? Then choose Battery repair. We check cells and BMS first, and you get a proposal to accept or turn down. Register your WheelDrive battery on this page.
