. When you send us the battery, put your own charger in the box as well. We test them together.The price appears at the top of this page as soon as you select Battery revision (our full cell replacement) and a capacity. Shipping is included, and so is the intake test: you do not pay for it separately when we re-cell your battery. If the intake test shows that something else is needed, you get a new proposal first. Only if you turn that down do we charge the €95 inspection fee.

The casing and the connector stay yours, so the battery fits back in its place afterwards. Before we start, we run an intake test. If the problem is somewhere else, say the charging port or the electronics, you hear that first and get a proposal that fits. KWS Seuren has been re-celling batteries since 2017.
You choose from 13.4Ah, 16.7Ah, 10Ah. More Ah means more energy in the same casing, so you get further on one charge. How much further depends on load, riding style, wind and temperature, which is why we do not quote kilometres. What we do guarantee: the capacity you order is the capacity you get.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
Two years. It covers the new cell pack and every part we replace during the cell replacement, including a new circuit board. We guarantee the capacity you order, not a number of kilometres. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.
If the casing is still intact, a cell replacement is usually the cheaper option. A new original e-bike battery costs €400 to €1,200; the price of a cell replacement for the Derby cycle impulse 36V is at the top of this page. Both come with a two-year warranty. New is the better choice if the casing is broken, or if you cannot do without the battery while we work on it.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.

Derby Cycle Impulse 36V 14.5Ah: cell replacement
This 36V Impulse battery by Derby Cycle holds 14.5 Ah from the factory. It powers e-bikes including the Kalkhoff Include, the Raleigh Newgate Premium and Impulse Evo models.
With Battery revision every cell is swapped inside your own housing. Take 16.7 Ah for more range than the original, or 13.4 Ah, which sits a little below the factory 14.5 Ah. The price of each option appears above, and the new cells carry a two-year warranty.
If the battery no longer switches on, choose Battery repair. We test the pack and the BMS and send a proposal you can accept or decline.
