If you accept, you pay for the repair and no inspection fee. If there is nothing we can do for your battery, it costs you nothing.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes, on the work we carried out and on the parts we replaced. The warranty does not cover parts of the battery we did not work on. If we repair the charging port, for example, the cells are not included. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Giant Energypak 200 Wh range extender: repair
The Energypak 200 Wh range extender (type 700000068) is the small 36V, 5.5 Ah pack Giant fits on the frame next to the main battery. It is used on bikes including the Giant Explore E, Giant Road E, Giant Trance X E and Liv Amiti E.
We repair it when it no longer wakes up after a long period empty, when the BMS or circuit board has failed, or when the charging port is damaged. Every cell group and the BMS are measured first. You get a proposal with the price and we only start after your approval.
Say no to the proposal and the extender is sent back for the inspection fee stated on this page.
