Shimano STEPS BT-E6010: repair for the 11.6 Ah frame battery
The BT-E6010 is the 36V 11.6 Ah frame battery of the Shimano STEPS E6010 system, fitted to e-bikes including the Gazelle Ami C7 HMS, Merida E Spresso, Scott E Sub and Stevens E Bormio. Shimano made it in grey (IBTE6010GD) and black (IBTE6010).
A full cell replacement, the Battery revision option, is not on offer for this type; repair is. A pack that has stood empty for months and is refused by the charger is brought back where the cells allow it; a failed BMS or circuit board is replaced, a damaged charging port repaired.
