When is a diagnosis worthwhile?
- When a battery cuts out or will not charge and the cause is unclear.
- When there is doubt about the remaining capacity.
- For insurance and damage claims.
- For batches with different fault patterns.
- For a new battery platform when it is not yet known whether it can be repaired.
- For batteries that charge but cut out under load.
Per battery or as a batch
With a single battery we look for the cause of the specific complaint. With a batch we see patterns: the same connector every time, the same electronics fault or the same cell group. A pattern like that can become the basis for a fixed repair process.
What do you get back?
The technical outcome and the agreed next step: repair, cell replacement, a refurbished replacement, write-off or further investigation.
The form in which you receive it varies by customer process. Would you like a report per batch? We agree that with you in advance.

For warranty and aftersales we link the diagnosis to repair criteria agreed in advance.
Frequently asked questions
Not in the same way for every order. We match the test to the battery type, the complaint and the agreed process.
We record the outcome with the order. Would you like a detailed technical report or a report per batch? We agree that with you in advance.
For business accounts the diagnosis time is around three working days, by arrangement. That does not automatically apply to every single order.
Yes, for battery types and volumes we have agreed with you in advance. We set the batch size and the test set-up together before the batteries arrive.
Want to know which approach suits your batteries?
Send us the battery type, the quantities and your current process. We first assess which technical approach makes sense. You can also read about repair and cell replacement, or see our approach for insurers and lease and fleet.
