What do manufacturers and importers run into?
Batteries that come back from warranty, service or dealers quickly become a major cost: technical investigation, parts, communication, transport and the same question every time of whether to repair or replace. Many batteries are made in Asia, while the service has to happen here. We fill that gap in Beugen.

What can we take over?
- analysis of recurring defects;
- intake and diagnosis per battery or per batch;
- helping to define repair criteria and decision rules;
- repair of BMS and electronics where technically possible;
- repair of connectors, charge ports and housings;
- cell replacement or a refurbished replacement where appropriate;
- handling of warranty and return cases;
- reporting by reference, serial number or batch;
- pilots for one specific battery model;
- service for phased-out systems where parts or factory support are scarce.
Our own electronics when nothing else is available
We do not only work on cell packs. For a number of battery types for which parts are no longer available, or where a standard repair is not enough, we have developed our own electronics. One example is a Bafang 43V battery fitted with KWS electronics.
Start small with a pilot
Working together does not have to start big. We begin with one battery type, one fault pattern or one group of returns. Based on the results we then set up a fixed way of working. How we safeguard quality and safety is described under quality and safety at KWS Seuren.

Yes, if that has been agreed. KWS Seuren records the test results and the work for each battery and can report by reference, serial number or batch.
