Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.

Yes, on the work we carried out and on the parts we replaced. The warranty does not cover parts of the battery we did not work on. If we repair the charging port, for example, the cells are not included. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Shimano STEPS BT-E6001 36V: repair for the carrier battery
The BT-E6001 is Shimano's 36V 14Ah STEPS carrier battery, in grey (IBTE6001GC) or black (IBTE6001LC). It sits on e-bikes including the Gazelle Ami, the Gazelle Arroyo, the Gazelle Grenoble and the Gazelle Orange.
KWS does not re-cell this type. Repair is on offer: we test the cells and the BMS, wake up a pack that has been left flat, and replace a failed board or a worn charging port. You get a proposal with the price before we start.
Turn it down and the battery comes back to you for the inspection fee stated on this page.
