You get a quote first. Expect more than €95. That amount is our inspection fee, and you only pay it if you turn down our proposal; we then send the battery back. If you accept, you pay for the repair and no inspection fee. If there is nothing we can do for your battery, it costs you nothing.
Register your battery on this page and follow the steps at checkout; we arrange the collection and send you the tracking details by email, with the time the courier will come. Put in the box: the printed insert form, the battery, the charger, and the key in a sealed envelope if your battery has a lock (do not tape it to the battery). Without the charger and the key we cannot test your battery fully. Your bike stays at home. Ask the courier for a proof of handover; that is your proof of shipping.
That depends on how busy the workshop is and on what we find in the intake test, so we do not quote a fixed number of days here. The current lead time is on our lead-time page.
Yes, on the work we carried out and on the parts we replaced. The warranty does not cover parts of the battery we did not work on. If we repair the charging port, for example, the cells are not included. The full terms are in our warranty conditions.

Shimano STEPS BT-E6000 36V: carrier battery repair
The BT-E6000 is the 36V 11.6Ah STEPS carrier battery by Shimano, found on e-bikes including the Achielle Alfons, the BH Bikes Steps, the Böttcher Glider X and the BSP Boozz. Check the type number on your label before you register it.
For this battery we offer repair. In the workshop we test the cells and the BMS, bring back a pack that was left flat and replace a failed board or charging port where needed. A cell replacement is not on offer, and refurbished packs of this type are currently not available.
You get a proposal with the price first. If you decline, the battery returns for the inspection fee stated on this page.
