Measure first, intervene afterwards
The fault pattern, the condition of the pack, the balance between the modules, the electronics and the communication with the vehicle determine what is appropriate. We establish that with a diagnosis.
We do not promise capacity, power or range in advance. What is achievable follows from the measurement.
High voltage calls for a fixed way of working
We handle high-voltage modules according to a documented work instruction with safety limits. A module that cannot be repaired responsibly does not go back into the car.
How we safeguard quality and safety is described under quality and safety at KWS Seuren.
In practice: 120 Golf GTE modules
Since March 2025 we have handled 120 battery modules from the Volkswagen Golf GTE, delivered in recurring batches. For each module we assess the fault pattern and repair the insulation fault when that is justified. For each batch the customer receives a split between modules that can be repaired and modules that cannot.
Who is it for?
- garages and hybrid specialists who do not want to solve a module fault with a complete new pack;
- companies with their own fleet of hybrid or electric vehicles;
- businesses that regularly have modules of the same type and want a fixed batch process for them.
What you can count on
Assessed per module

Frequently asked questions
We can examine all platforms. Whether a module can then be repaired depends on the fault pattern, the condition and the parts. We tell you after the diagnosis.
That is not a standard service. What is technically possible and what the consequences are varies by platform.
We write it off. A module that cannot be repaired responsibly does not go back into the car.
Contact us first with the make, model, fault pattern and quantities. Then we agree how the modules are packed and delivered safely.
